NEW Opportunity to Develop Inpatient Diabetes Management Service
The Department of Endocrinology at Banner University Medical Center - Tucson (BUMC-T) is currently seeking a creative, enthusiastic and highly motivated Endocrinologist to help lead and develop this new service line with ample opportunity for your own general endocrine practice. The qualified candidate will receive a faculty appointment commensurate with their credentials.
1.0 FTE (50/50 split of inpatient and outpatient care)
Average patient Load: 18 per day
Teach and mentor students and fellows
BE/BC in Endocrinology / Metabolism
Skilled in quality improvement and system-based practice
Planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Desire to teach, train and mentor students and fellows
Position open to experienced physicians as well as physicians just out of fellowship
BUMC-S, formerly University of Arizona Medical Center – South Campus, is a comprehensive medical center with an Emergency department, a state-designated trauma center and a Behavioral Health Pavilion.
