Mile Square Health Center is seeking to hire a full-time Visiting Research Specialist in our Main department. The Research Specialist will engage in research activities for the HIV PrEP grant study. This individual will provide support to Mile Square Health Centers by collecting, severing, and analyzing data for our HIV PrEP grant and providing research tools to ensure we are completing the initiatives of the grant. They will be working with America Hospital Association and Blue Cross Blue Shield funding. This project will address health disparities and diabetes within the Mile Square Health Center population.
Recruitment of participants in community engagement activities
Recruit, engage, and coordinate in the development with partners
Develop and write advanced, comprehensive protocols
Developing and coordinating disease registry
Conducting focus groups with patients and providers
Supporting and implementing patient education on diabetes and other chronic conditions
Working with research team to develop interventions based on findings from patient registry, focus groups and key informants
Oversee and assist in data collection and data analysis

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in science or related field required. Master's degree in science preferred.
A minimum of 3 years related research experience.
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods.
