Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin is looking for a second CNM to join a rapidly expanding practice. Seeking enthusiastic, compassionate CNM to practice full scope midwifery in a supportive environment and to provide holistic, family-centered care to women of all ages and backgrounds. Outreach of 2 days a month is an expectation of this role. Co-management of some high risk (twins, gestational diabetes, VBAC, preeclampsia, etc.), office-based gynecology, some primary care, and lactation consulting. Diverse patient population including Amish, Mennonite, Hmong, Hispanic families and full interpretive services on site. Emphasis on non-intervention and birthing alternatives. New graduates and experienced CNMs welcome.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Master's degree in nursing with emphasis in midwifery.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or Nurse Compact License, Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), and Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber within two months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.

Preferred/Optional: Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or Nurse Compact License, Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), and Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber at time of hire.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
