This pharmacist functions as a Pharmacy Supervisor for a specific section of VAPAHCS Pharmacy Service. The Pharmacy Supervisor performs administrative functions independently and is responsible for all clinical work performed within the section. During off-tours, the Pharmacy Supervisor is responsible for making decisions during urgent/emergency situations which cannot wait until the next business day in order to ensure continued operations and timely patient care.
