The University of Kentucky (UK) College of Medicine is committed to expanding and enhancing efforts to recruit and retain faculty that contribute to a diverse and accessible learning and research environment. As part of this commitment, we plan to use the College of Medicine Map to Impact through a Transdisciplinary Strategy (COMMITS) Hiring Initiative to recruit faculty at any rank, thereby strengthening the research and academic environment by expanding perspectives and experiences within the College of Medicine. Pursuant to the College’s established hiring processes, faculty recruited under this initiative will receive tenure-track appointments in departments relevant to their research focus.
