Occ Summary
Plan and provide advanced and/or specializ ednursing care for patientsin accordance with guidelines established wit hin the Discipline ofNursing Clinical Ladder Program; participate in edu cational activities,departmental committees, research projects or other health relatedprojects as assigned. Provide nursing services to patients andfamiliesin accordance with the scope of the RN as defined by the Nor thCarolinaBoard of Nursing.
Work Performed
Identify careneeds for patient populations at the unit level. The Clinical Nurse III prov ides leadership at the unit level. Minimum Qualifications
Education
Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN program. Exception: Registered nurses hired between July 1, 2014 and April 11, 2021 without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are expected to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date but must complete the program within five years of their start date. Registered nurses hired before July 1, 2014 are not required to enroll in a BSN program to remain in this job classification.
