The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership and assume continuous responsibility for the development, implementation, coordination, maintenance and evaluation of the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center (MGVAMC) Diabetic Education Program. The position is located at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. The Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist RN reports directly to the Chief of Education Service. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
