The Phlebotomy Team Lead is responsible for creating and maintaining the schedule of all phlebotomists, overseeing the hiring, training and competencies of all phlebotomists. The Phlebotomy Team Lead oversees processing specimens for referral laboratory testing and their test results; maintains overall efficiency of phlebotomy services throughout the laboratory.

High school graduate or equivalent required
Graduate of an accredited program of phlebotomy technique required
Proven ability to communicate orally and in writing required
Basic understanding of clinical laboratory tests, including sample requirements and the ability to research and investigate appropriate sources for information on new or esoteric testing required
Must demonstrate good guest relations/customer service skills
Three (3) years' experience in the field of phlebotomy required.
