The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in collaboration with Carle Health is seeking an academic Surgical Oncologist to be a faculty member of the Carle Illinois College of Medicine and to help grow the surgical oncology programs at Carle Health and the Carle Cancer Institute in Urbana, Illinois. This position will be 50% clinical and 50% academic/research with paid protected time for research.The candidate will be supported to develop relationships and collaborate with the existing researchers at Carle and at the University of Illinois, to attract intramural and extramural funding, and develop hypothesis-driven research protocols.
