The incumbent assists and prepares Veterans for ambulatory care visits, communicates with other members of the healthcare team regarding patient concerns and personal observations, may provide cross coverage for other areas as assigned by manager. Travel may also be required within the Health Care System. Demonstrates the ability to provide a full range of practical nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and/or behavioral problems. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
