Position SummaryThe center for heart care at Phoenix Children’s is seeking qualified applicants for assisting in research and quality improvement of cardiac patients in general and those with Fontan physiology. The Fontan program at Phoenix Children’s provides multi-disciplinary care (including cardiology, hepatology, nephrology, pulmonology, nutrition, social work and psychology) to a large volume of children and adults with a Single ventricle heart disease who have undergone third stage (Fontan) surgery. The program maintains a database with currently >300 active patients, and designs complex care plan, protocols and undertakes research projects to improve outcomes of this medically fragile population.
