Registered Nurse- Diabetes Educator
The Diabetes Educator (DE) at the Minneapolis VA has responsibilities across service lines and disciplines. The nurse in this role facilitates education of veterans with diabetes and serves as a resource for all medical center staff regarding diabetes policies/questions. The DE provides initial and follow-up care to patients with diabetes by individual appointments, telephone interactions, group interventions and education classes. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the time of application. Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency.
