Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Endocrinology

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, dedicated to providing exceptional quality patient care and passionate about serving our community. The incoming APP will join a well-established program, work in a team-base-care model.

The position

• Full time employed opportunity - Working Monday thru Thursday 8-5 and Fridays 8-12
• Collaborating with Dr. Nelson - Shared panel
• Busy outpatient practice, seeing 15-17 patients per day
• No call (at this time), no nights, no weekends, no holidays
• Collaborate and manage patients with mostly Type II Diabetes, but also managing patients with Type I Diabetes, Hypothyroidism, and Osteoporosis
• Required Experience: Candidate must have experience working in an endocrinology practice or inpatient setting
• Certification requirements: Candidate must be a Certified Diabetes Educator
• Iowa license required at time of employment
