Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors patient vital signs. Observes and maintains records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress. A5 is a 27-bed cardiac medical-surgical telemetry unit. We primarily care for medical-surgical patients with a diagnosis that consists of medical issues such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiac issues such as congestive heart failure.
