If you are passionate about helping people change their lives for the better and thrive in a dynamic healthcare setting, this could be the perfect role for you. We are looking for a detail-oriented RN or Nutritionist to help manage the day-to-day operations of our Bariatric Surgery program, serving a culturally diverse population.
You will play a key role in ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes while also being a compassionate, steady presence for patients on their weight-loss journey. Your organizational talents, problem-solving mindset, and ability to connect with people will help improve care, streamline operations, and make a lasting impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
Working closely with a collaborative team of physicians, surgeons, dietitians, and support staff, you will:
- Function as the go-to person for daily office operations within the Bariatric Surgery division
- Keep staff and workflows moving efficiently to ensure timely, high-quality care
- Coordinate each step of the patient journey, from first consultation to recovery
- Partner with Marketing to host educational seminars and connect with the community
- Help maintain MBSAQIP accreditation and keep the program compliant with all regulations
- Monitor outcomes, improve processes, and collaborate with billing to ensure proper documentation and reimbursement
What You’ll Need
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Nutrition and Dietetics
- 3–5 years of bariatric experience, including program development and budgeting
- The drive to help build and grow a high-quality Bariatric Service Line
- A current NYS license in your healthcare field
- Registered Dietitians must hold credentials from the Commission on Dietetics Registration
- BCLS certification and comfort with billing, coding, and Microsoft Office tools
- A warm, professional communication style and strong organizational skills
