The management section includes diabetes prevention through an intensive diabetes prevention program known as the Group Lifestyle Balance (GLB), diabetes education through an American Diabetes Association recognized education program, and intensive diabetes management (includes use of complex regimens, insulin pump, glucose sensors, comprehensive foot exams, vaccination programs, and specialized testing). The research section conducts translational research, investigator-initiated research, and validation of new treatment models. The research section gains approval through the Institutional Review Board for all studies. Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). Minimum of three (3) years age-specific experience as a diabetes educator is required within the last five (5) years.
