You must be able to assess general pediatric assessments, able to estimate needs including failure to thrive/catch up growth/decreased muscle tone populations, experience with reading/charting of growth charts including pediatrics in wheelchairs/poor muscle tone, ability to calculate powder formula recipes (accounting for powder displacement) for the formula mixing technician to follow. PICU and NICU experience is not necessary but it would be a good bonus skillset to have as the pediatric RDN team will cross cover for each other.
