Monday - Friday Financial Disclosure Report: Not required The VA Northern California Health Care System is recruiting for a full-time Staff Endocrinologist, Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) at the Sacramento VA Medical Center (VAMC), Mather, CA. The successful candidate will be involved in student, house staff, and Fellow education, and provide direct patient care. The position offers opportunity for protected research time and collaboration with dynamic colleagues at the VA and local centers. We encourage applications from investigators with an interest and track record in health services research, and the ability to use the extensive VA clinical data set. A faculty appointment at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, is available. The Sacramento VAMC represents the central hospital and outpatient facility for VANCHCS with all major specialty groups represented with a catchment population of eighty thousand Veterans and ten sites of care. Our Sacramento location affords the extraordinary amenities of the Northern California region including first-rate schools, numerous cultural offerings and outdoor activities with access to the coast and to the mountains with less than two hours to San Francisco and to Lake Tahoe. Candidates must be US citizen, BE/BC in Endocrinology and have current unrestricted US medical license.
