Spokane Eye Clinic, P.S. is looking for a Director of Clinical Research responsible for coordinating all functions associated with our well-established Clinical Research Program. Primary job responsibilities include identifying opportunities for new studies, contract negotiations with study sponsors, oversight of research studies from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with study protocols and relevant local, state, federal regulatory requirements. Our Director of Clinical Research works solely at our flagship location in downtown Spokane and is responsible for the supervision of three employees.  We currently have 7 enrolling studies and 5 studies in follow up. The majority of our studies involve drug therapy to treat macular degeneration and/or diabetic eye disease. The Director of Clinical Research works closely with the Medical Director and reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. This is a full time salaried, exempt position, Monday through Friday with competitive salary and benefits and an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development in a progressive, physician-owned, group practice setting.  

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of clinical research experience and a minimum of five years of clinical research experience is preferred. A Clinical Research Coordinator certification is preferred. Ophthalmic, eye care experience is a bonus!
